On April 13, 2023, the Acceptance Review Meeting for the Commissioning Prototype of the Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST) of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) - Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO) was held at USTC. Experts from the National Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (NAOC), Shanghai Astronomical Observatory (SHAO), Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO), Nanjing Astronomical Instrument Co., LTD (NAIRC), and USTC attended the meeting. At the meeting, Mr. Wang Jian, Deputy Chief Designer of WFST, made a report on the development of WFST test prototype, and Mr. Zhang Hongfei, Associate Researcher of WFST, made a report on the testing of WFST test prototype.

The participating experts listened to the above reports, reviewed the relevant information, and questioned and discussed the development process and test results of the test prototype. The experts unanimously agreed that the development team of the main focus camera has completed the development tasks of the WFST main focus camera debugging prototype, and accomplished the debugging tasks in the Institute of Optics and Electronics of Chinese Academy of Sciences (IOE) in cooperation with the telescope body, which meets the requirements for on-site debugging in the stations, and has the conditions for going out of IOE. The evaluation panel agreed that the debugging prototype of the Wide Field Survey Telescope (WFST) had passed the acceptance of its release from the institute.
